Nokuzola C. Ndlovu


Nokuzola helps clients to identify, protect and commercialise their intellectual property and advises businesses in the registration and enforcement of their intellectual property rights in Africa.  She supports clients' R&D, marketing and finance departments and in  negotiation of IP agreements from the initial to the closing stage. Nokuzola has done work in IP policy, strategy and due diligence exercises, developing and implementing brand portfolio management systems for businesses and has represented a range of commercial clients in IP disputes and general commercial disputes.

Nokuzola has experience in advising clients in licensing and franchising deals and represents companies in various sectors including financial services, food processing, agriculture, manufacturing, arts, media, fashion, medical services, transport and energy. 

Nokuzola holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and a Bachelor of Laws degree from Rhodes University, South Africa. She is an alumnus of the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) South Africa Advanced Summer School (2017) and holds certifications from the WIPO Academy in general intellectual property, patent drafting and international registration of trade marks.
